Mixed — NBN FTTP and OptiComm fibre available depending on the lot
OptiComm — not NBN

Coriyule Estate runs on OptiComm fibre.

This is important if you're moving in or buying a new router. OptiComm is a private fibre network — not NBN. The provider list is different (Aussie Broadband, Superloop, Telstra, iiNet are the usual suspects on OptiComm), the wall socket is different, and an NBN-only router won't necessarily plug in the way you'd expect.

Newer Curlewis estate. NBN FTTP at most lots. OptiComm fibre has also been deployed in this part of the suburb — check both the NBN address checker and opticomm.com.au before committing to a plan.

WiFi at a Coriyule Estate address looks different to WiFi at the next-suburb-over.

Recent-build homes throw a few specific things at WiFi — wall buildup, longer floorplans, and the fact that an ISP-supplied router was sized for a smaller place than the one you actually live in.

How a visit at Coriyule Estate runs.

Every Curlewis home is different, but the standard Coriyule Estate workflow: real speed at every device location (not just at the modem), drawing the house so you can see where the signal actually drops out, channel congestion from the neighbours, and whether the existing router is genuinely up to the floorplan. We don’t recommend gear before measuring — half the time the existing equipment is fine and just needs setting up properly.

Common WiFi patterns at Coriyule Estate

What tends to go wrong with WiFi here.

General patterns by estate type and home style — not a guarantee about any specific address. The $199 visit is how we work out which (if any) of these is happening at yours.

  • ! Coastal salt air degrading equipment.
  • ! ISP router under-spec for floorplan.
