I'm Karl. I started Why Oh WiFi because I kept hearing the same story from neighbours, friends, and family — they had been told to "buy a new router", "upgrade to mesh", or "switch internet providers" without anyone actually measuring what was wrong with their WiFi first.
I've spent more than 20 years in IT — 16 of those at Apple Australia, where I learned that the right answer almost never comes from guessing. So I built a proper diagnostic process: the kit network engineers actually use, plain-English written reports, honest recommendations. If you don't need new hardware, I'll tell you. If you do, I'll install it as part of the price.
I work across Geelong, the Surf Coast, the Bellarine, Golden Plains, and the Colac Otway region. I come to you. I measure everything. You get a written report within 24 hours that you can read, share with anyone, and act on.
A visit takes about 90 minutes on site. The booking calendar blocks a wider window than that on purpose, because being rushed is how people miss things. Calls and texts are answered 7am to 8pm every day; site visits run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
